As an engineering student, I would highlight the high-quality facilities at the University of Calgary. There are high-technology devices in classes and labs for engineering students to develop their skills. However, some professors are not good at explaining the topics they teach and assuming that students understand most of the topics. Hence, the school could improve on reviewing the professors’ deliverable skills. The students’ life here is a combination of happiness and stress. The engineering program itself is already heavy, but there are school activities that help relieve the students’ stress. Compared to many universities in Canada, the University of Calgary has pretty good tuition for international students. The university also provided advising and notified job and research positions for students.
