I have learned to become flexible and open to all sorts of change during my unique university experience so far. I have been lucky enough to study at 3 different schools, in 4 different countries, and 3 different continents. From receiving a volleyball scholarship and moving to San Francisco for two years, to COVID19 derailing my original plan and forcing me to transfer schools, to taking a semester off, to continuing my education online, to participating in two exchanges to Munich, Germany and Arusha, Tanzania, I have crossed paths with a plethora of people. There were several constants throughout my time so far, that is frustration, mainly with admissions, but also excitement for a new journey that helped shape me into a more confident person with cross-cultural experiences. I am finishing a combined major in Cultural Studies and English which paired wonderfully with all of my adventures thus far. My passions mainly center around learning from other people and absorbing as much as I can from places that make me feel a bit out of my comfort zone. My plan was to follow that passion and figure out how to make the most of each situation.
