Professors were always helpful. Classes were hard and I eventually dropped out, but that’s on me.
Every support staff and teachers were accommodating and nice. Really feels like when you are here you’re getting education that will be useful in the working world after. Very interesting subjects and advanced science

I don’t have really strong feelings about the school, it was a nice experience all around. The classes were solid for the most part. There’s always exceptions, but generally the professors made their lessons engaging. My biggest problem (though not too big) was some problems with courses. Some programs have prerequisites that I thought weren’t clear, so I’d try to register but get blocked for unknown reasons.

I am an international student coming straight from an African country called Cameroon. I am currently doing a master’s degree at the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM). This establishment is simply FABULOUS! My integration went very well because the University has various associations that help students from elsewhere to integrate, to know the places, the classrooms and even to encourage meetings between newcomers! For me, for whom everything was new, I really needed it! In addition, on the academic level, the professors are great, the different study programs are interesting, the duration of the courses is not long (3 hours/course) and we have the possibility to choose our own subjects according to the profession to which we aspire. The class sessions are constructive and we interact a lot with our professors, which promotes learning, public speaking and especially the acceptance of different points of view. If you have to continue your studies in Canada, I recommend UQAM 200%! You will not be disappointed!
