York University has amazing professors with years of experience. Some courses can be a bit repetitive and dry, but it is not difficult to excel (at least in my BA program). There’s always something going on at campus, so it is not hard to include yourself in extracurriculars. The only thing I disliked at York was the politics of the university. It is pretty difficult to express your opinion if you differ from the masses without being immediately ridiculed.

York University is a distinguished institution that possesses various attributes that contribute to its excellence, including its high academic standards, stunning campus, modern facilities, and lively student community. The professors, who are highly competent and dedicated to their respective fields, prioritize the welfare and intellectual growth of their students. York University is a university that I wholeheartedly admire and would strongly recommend to anyone.

Aside from a strike for half a year and a pandemic for another my experience at york was a good one. I had some great professors and met some nice people. The school needs some more areas to sit and study. They were always full

I am an international student and have attended York for a year thus far and it has been a welcoming experience from students and Professors. The location however, is not ideal as there is not a lot to do in North York compared to downtown Toronto.
