I found the classes to be enourmous lectures which made it difficult to connect with anyone, students or the professors. I dont feel like I left here with any real connections or possible references. It tends to be a commuter school so people dont really stick around after classes. It was just so so

I really enjoy attending York University due to the accessibility in proximity to the Greater Toronto Area and the diverse student body in the campus. With the new York University subway station located just outside of my classes, I find it to be extremely convenient for many commuters alike. Also having it being located in the Greater Toronto Area creates a welcoming environment for students of different ethnic backgrounds, a goal that York University aims to celebrate.

As a third-year business student at the Schulich School of Business. Over the past three years, I have participated in numerous case competitions such as the BTA and YSA, as well as attended networking events at the Big 4. The small classroom size allows for a comfortable and collaborative environment amongst my peers and professors.

The BBA program at York University is known for its exceptional faculty, who are experts in their fields and bring a wealth of real-world experience to the classroom. The faculty are committed to providing a high-quality education that is both rigorous and practical, and they work closely with students to ensure they are well-prepared for the demands of the business world.

One of York University’s standout features is its extensive range of academic programs. From liberal arts to sciences, business, law, and more, students can choose from a wide array of disciplines. This diversity allows for interdisciplinary studies, encouraging a holistic approach to learning. However, some students may find the large class sizes in introductory courses challenging, impacting personalized attention from professors.

Campus Facilities (★★★★☆):
The Keele campus, the main hub of York University, is equipped with modern facilities, including state-of-the-art lecture halls, research centers, and recreational spaces. The newly renovated Student Centre is a hub of activity, offering various services, clubs, and organizations. However, the Glendon campus, while picturesque, is comparatively smaller and might have fewer resources.

I’ve been to many universities in the past year and one thing York University trumps all is in its campus. By being in North York, York University if able to create a community environment. Everywhere you go is a part of the University and you can really enjoy every part of it.

Of course, it is important to highlight that there have been a few criminal incidents like robberies and stabbing but they are being handled to the best of the universty’s ability.

The campus is spacious and well-maintained, with a mix of modern and historic buildings. The student body is diverse and multicultural, which adds to the dynamic and inclusive atmosphere on campus. The university also offers a variety of extracurricular activities and clubs, as well as sports teams, to help students get involved and engage with the community. The professors are dedicated and knowledgeable, and the coursework is challenging but rewarding. Overall, York University is a great choice for those looking for a well-rounded and stimulating university experience.

Nice time. Very easy going. Professors were helpful most of the time and lots to do on the campus. Only complaint is that crime is heavy on the campus, but other then that all is too. I studied Business and Communications studies.

I chose this university after getting an entrance scholarship and the equivalent of 1 year of transfer credits from my college. I thought the campus was great and I had a lot of interesting electives to pick from in my first year. Though I didn’t get many chances to form relationships with my teachers there, I did find the study materials relevant to the workplace and to this field. There were some administrative hiccups towards the end of my studies that required a lot of follow up, but they were resolved in the end.
