I had a variety of opportunities and got to work on projects and clubs affiliated with the university. The program enabled me to find my career path and even work on it while focusing on my personal growth.

Amazing university with cooperative teachers. I am fairly new here but university is very welcoming and very gracious. They treat every student equally and very friendly staff. Although this is a big place but every area has calculated directions.

York University is one of the best universities in Canada and offers very competitive courses. I did actuarial science in the faculty of science and I must confess I got the best. The lecturers here are top notch. It also provides students with networking opportunities making it easier for the students to get competitive jobs not only in Canada but anywhere in the world. This makes it a world class university and I highly recommend York University

I was a part of the Schulich School of Business faculty at York University.
Although the four-year undergraduate term was rigorous and dense, I was able to develop a career within the capital markets sector as a result of my post-secondary background.
More importantly, the soft skills that I gained through collaborative group initiatives, participating in club-related activities (i.e. DECA, case competitions. etc.), and course-based presentations provided a good foundation for me to rely on when having interactions in the corporate world. I believe that although my technical aptitude may have helped me get my foot in the door, the people/soft skills gained throughout the 4 years helped me secure internships and subsequently full-time roles.
Overall, I am a strong advocate for post-secondary and higher education. I plan to go back to school to pursue my Masters in Finance.
In the meantime, I am working on attaining a CFA designation.

The campus is beautiful and there are tons of resources available to students. The university could use better communication mediums and maybe better networking opportunities or career advisors for all kinds of programs and not just the very renowned ones.

Amazing university, really happy with my choice. The campus and clubs are great. Teachers and students are very helpful. Its easy to make friends as their are a vast variety of students from different ethnicities

I am almost in my last year of my bachelors and I have enjoyed my time here so far. Apart from the strike that took place in my first year I have had an overall smooth experience at this institution.
