at Queen's University

I enjoyed my 4 years at Queen’s. I got to embrace certain aspects of my identity like I never had before and thrive as a creative leader in my passion projects. The school of computing is rather small which was nice because you sort of know everyone and everyone helps each other. The people make the school and defined my experience. Queens still has a long way to go in terms of their equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts as well as holding individuals and the university accountable for their racist history and it’s present manifestations and impact on racialized and marginalized students on campus.
