Algonquin College for public relations.

I have learned useful experiences such as special events, crisis communications, fundraising, social media management, media kits and many more thing.

The focus of this semester was to organize an event charity campaign the class was all organizing. I was the team leader and social media lead that made sure everything fell into place and promoted our event. I think making this the main focus for the semester was a great learning experience and got us into the real world and dip our feet in event planning for a public relations agency or big company.

The only bad thing I have is that some classes are unorganized, which made it hard to understand what we were learning but overall this program is a fun program to be in and kind of keeps you on your feet because you never know what’s gonna happen.
