The music program at uOttawa has great faculty. They are all very supportive and generous in making sure every student in our school is getting the guidance they need. Being one of the smaller music schools in Canada, studio sizes tend to be on the smaller side making for tighter student community and more one on one attention with the prof. Despite being a smaller school though, the city offers great mentorship opportunities for the students through the Ottawa Symphony and the National Arts Centre which make great resume items for any musician. Cost wise, very competitive and lots of financial assistance. Only downside is the quality of some facilities and the dry climate!
