The University of Ottawa Bachelor of Arts with a focus in English Literature program was a very thorough course. Some courses were quite heavy, with several novels needing to be read in a short time – so be prepared to read, especially if you are taking multiple literature courses simultaneously. The professors were knowledgeable and helpful during office hours. The school itself could offer more engagement in terms of student engagement, with more opportunities for students to get to know each other, and more visibility of these events. The school itself is expansive in the downtown core of Ottawa and has some beautiful outdoor and indoor spaces to enjoy.
