As an international student, I’ve had a really positive experience at Trent University so far. The campus is peaceful and beautiful, and the class sizes are small enough that you really get to know your professors and peers. I study Media Studies with a Marketing specialization, and I’ve found the courses to be both creative and practical. There’s a great balance between theory and real-world application.

The community here is super friendly and inclusive. Otonabee College, my affiliated college, has been such a big part of my social life. I’ve also been involved in student leadership and communications, which gave me valuable experience outside the classroom.

Trent definitely emphasizes personal growth and community, which makes it feel like more than just a school. I would recommend it especially to students who are looking for a tight-knit, supportive university experience in Canada.
