Mount Allison University provides a unique and irreplaceable undergraduate experience. The primary advantage of attending this institution is its close-knitted community. The school is home to roughly 2,000 academic scholars who can develop strong connections with their professors and fellow students due to the small classroom sizes. In particular, Mount Allison has an exceptional Bachelor of Science program that offers students extensive laboratory experience and opportunities to closely work with in professional research laboratories during their undergraduate studies.

Mount Allison also provides their students with a vast array of opportunities to engage within the local community through various student run initiatives, including the Experimental Learning Program; a program where students can design an independent study of their choosing. I love Mount Allison, not only are the professors extremely knowledgeable, respectful and open to helping you do your very best in class, the people and community of Sackville are amazing. Everyone is extremely welcoming and helpful and the friends that you make will be with you for the long run. The campus is nice and small so you will always run into someone you know either on your way to meal hall, to watch a football game, or visit the library. Mount Allison is a great school and I’m glad to be a student there.

I am majoring in psychology through an Arts Program. So far, I’ve had an amazing experience. The faculty at Mount Allison is really nice and helpful. It is highly competitive so it’s difficult to keep up but it just pushes me to work harder. No complaints

Overall, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time at Mount A! It’s an excellent school with an amazing English program with lots of knowledgeable and kind professors. However, my primary concern with the school is the rapidly rising cost, alongside the downfall of many school services. With the pandemic, we lost the majority of our access to many school services (until this upcoming year.) Despite this, our tuition continues to rise roughly 3% each year.
Overall, my student experience has been extremely positive, however, the price of the school definitely creates a negative side.
