I strongly recommend McGill University, especially the students majoring in Education and Psychology. The professors are helpful and kindly, and the learning experience is comfortable. And also, McGill is located in Montreal, a beautiful and romantic city. I am sure you will learn the expert knowledge and enjoy your learning.
The only disadvantage is, in this city, Montreal, French is necessary for finding an internship opportunity!

McGill University is one of the best Universities in the world. It is highly regarded in Montreal and that makes me feel it is well respected globally. The academic activities are very well organized, and the professors are very committed to their duties. They are always willing to listen to a student and help them succeed. Harassment of any form by teachers are, probably zero or almost zero. There are opportunities to get financial aid. McGill is a very diverse learning environment, with faculty and students from all over the world. It is very hard to exhaust the beautiful things about the University. However, McGill is a very busy environment. On every facet, there is just too much to do such that if you are not careful, you may lose focus and that will affect your academics. For example, programs aimed at providing students with needed support are just much and each of them is very informative. If you want to attend all or most, that might be a problem. Yes, I will recommend McGill University to anyone at any time. There is no better place to study.

McGill has international students from 150 countries. Education and research standard is quite high. Professors are cooperative and friendly. It’s one of the Canada’s top ranked medical and PhD university. Honour to be a student of this prestigious university.

I had a great experience at McGill University, however, the B.ED program is poorly designed. The education classes lack real-world application. The profs were great, however, it felt like they haven’t actually been in a classroom in a very long time and some of their information was totally outdated.

Besides the education classes, you have to obtain a major and a minor in your chosen teachable subjects. Standard English Literature and History classes just don’t provide any value to actually teaching these subjects. Taking random classes for both subjects, that are totally irrelevant to high school students did not prepare me for the classroom at all. I wish the English lit and history classes were actually geared towards adolescents and how to teach the material. Also, because you are taking education classes as well as two other teachable subject classes, your schedule will be all over campus so be prepared to walk as the Montreal Campus is HUGE!

There are many courses available in different areas, allowing each to shape their own degree. The generally high achieving student population creates an environment where it is easy to find motivation. Outside of courses, the compact nature of the campus and the pride people take in being part of McGill create a positive energy.

I am so happy to be here as a graduate student in the faculty of education in Mcgill. As we are in Montreal, where the basic language is French, it is much easier to speak English in Mcgill. The learning and research environment is just wonderful, and there are a large number of excellent professors here.
