The Computer Science major at McGill University is a versatile one that allows its students to get a taste of various facets of the subject. As such, I find it a good fit for anyone who doesn’t know which path of Computer Science they would like to pursue. However, this can also be a double edged sword, as it does not allow for in depth exploration of any of the subjects learned during the major, which can be a con for many people.

I really love studying at McGill University. There are a lot of universities in Montreal so most of the people there are university students. It’s very easy to meet new people and make friends from all around the world.
