Overall, I would rate the programme very positively. It offered a strong balance between academic learning and real-world experience. The lecturers were knowledgeable, approachable, and supportive throughout the course, especially during placement periods. I particularly appreciated how the curriculum aligned closely with real social work practice, making it easier to apply theory in everyday situations.

The structure of the apprenticeship allowed me to gain hands-on experience in the field while studying, which helped build my confidence and practical skills. Some modules were more demanding than others, especially when juggling work responsibilities, but the support systems in place made it manageable.

What stood out the most was the reflective learning approach and the emphasis on values, ethics, and safeguarding, which are so essential in social work. It’s a great programme for those who want to learn by doing and are committed to making a difference in people’s lives.
