I really enjoyed my experience at McMaster University. I was accepted into the English and Cultural Studies program and I found the people that I meant in my program to be very like-minded. Once I got over my initial shyness it was easy to make friends. The professor whose classes I took all seemed highly passionate about the subjects they were teaching. McMaster also has a lot of career development programs for its humanities students, in case you, like many students are worried about finding a job after you graduate. My only regret is not joining more student clubs (of which there are soooo many at Mac). There’s no shortage of ways to get involved in campus life at Mac. Best of luck to any future applicants.
