Bioresource Engineering

I studied Bioresource Engineering at McGill University. There are two campuses at McGill: downtown and Mac campus. My program took place at Mac Campus where the classes are smaller, the professors are great, and there are tons of resources to help you throughout your degree.
One thing I would say about the program is that not all the classes listed as options are available to take every year. I can think of a few classes that I would have loved to take, but weren’t available during my entire 4 years in the program.
The program is very hands-on. At Mac Campus, there is a shop where many of the labs take place and you can get hands-on experience with subjects related to welding, materials science, water labs, etc.
The program is definitely worth it. You get close with your peers in the smaller classes, you get real support from your professors and you get to experience a multi-faceted form of engineering.
