In my experience, conestoga college does little to support its students and audit their supposed qualified professors. Many times me and my peers reached out to the dean and other officals about the unprofessionalism and lack of knowledge about the course content from many professors. We were given little support and little was done to rectify these serious situations. Due to this I found the courses of the program unhelpful in preparing me for the workforce. In addition to this, students are expected to take 6-7 courses each semester which is unrealistic and makes it difficult to do well and understand all course content. Many of the electives available are completely irrelevant and yet take much needed time that could be spent on the core courses related to our selected programs.

If you ever felt like school wasn’t for you, Conestoga College is the school for you. School always felt like a chore to me. It was always something that never “understood” me. I always felt like I learned differently. After I got through elementary school and somehow got through high school. I looked at a variety of colleges and universities that I was interested in going to. Conestoga College was the only one I applied to. It was the only one I felt comfortable with being a part of the 2SLGBTQIA community and the Metis community as well. I really liked the ability to be able to work on school from home remotely. The only thing I disliked was some classes you were unable to do remotely but you were given the option in different semesters!

Conestoga college is peaceful and is a perfect fit for any student looking forward to start their journey as an international student & is on a budget.
Conestoga offers students a variety of programmes, Graduate certificates and diplomas. These are perfect fit for anyone willing to change streams or do multiple different courses.Their hybrid modules help us prioritise subjects accordingly and every campus is located in such a way that it is not a difficult job to reach any location.
