    Great business school, bad culture

Queen’s University’s commerce program is one of, if not the best, business programs you can go to in Canada. Relative to the States, it’s worth the extra cost but it’s very expensive as far as Canadian universities go. As a result, the culture is extremely elite, wealthy, and not very diverse. The average family income is probably around $250K so you should be prepared to be around those kinds of students. The program itself is most difficult in the second year. Unlike other programs, a lot of the deliverables are for group assignments and presentations. Overall, the culture is pretty clique-y and fratty, but if you’re interested in getting a high paying job right out of university, this is probably your best bet.
