McMaster University’s co-op for business students are well recognized across the country. The school has partnerships with large, world renowned companies who hire students directly from McMaster. The school has created a platform that includes a list of all potential roles offered by partnered companies where students can directly apply. The partnerships make it convenient to find and secure roles.

Overall, I believe that my experience at McMaster for business has been positive. Professors are extremely helpful, and high grades are relatively easy to achieve. Based on my program, I would recommend McMaster for those who are wanting to receive a well-rounded, positive experience from an educational and social perspective.

I am thoroughly impressed with McMaster University’s Honours Commerce program. The diverse and comprehensive curriculum, coupled with exceptional faculty, has provided me with a well-rounded and enriching educational experience.

What I particularly appreciate is the program’s focus on practical application. It not only equips students with theoretical knowledge but also encourages hands-on learning through internships, case studies, and real-world projects. Moreover, the support and opportunities available within the DeGroote School of Business have been outstanding. Clubs like DeGroote Black in Business, DeGroote Women in Business and even DeGroote Finance and Investment Council have allowed me to engage in extracurricular activities that complement my academic journey.

I would highly recommend McMaster’s Honours Commerce program to anyone seeking a high-quality business education. The program’s emphasis on critical thinking, problem-solving, and ethical decision-making aligns perfectly with the demands of today’s business world. It’s a nurturing environment for personal and professional growth, and I’m excited to see where it takes me in my future career.

I am taking the Business I course at McMaster University. The course is a manageable one but can be quite difficult in areas such as accounting and finance. I like the Student Experience Program which helps students learn how to work with others in a simulated work environment. Furthermore, out of all the classes under the Business I course, I would say I prefer the Marketing classes the most. The classes are engaging and the professors really know how to relate with the students. This makes the learning process very enjoyable. I would recommend this course to anyone who is looking to branch into areas concerning marketing, accounting, finance, economics, and data analytics.

I joined my program not knowing what I intend on doing in the far future however I knew that I am a person who likes to go out and get things done, on hands type of guy. I am at McMaster University in the Business program and I finished my first year not long ago. As much as this is a highly notorious university with an impressive reputation I felt like the program could’ve used a more interactive aspect aside from the regulars come in and watch the slides and leave. So I do think the university or even universities across Canada could offer a more dynamic study style.
