Dalhousie is an amazing school, and I don’t think I would want to study anywhere else. I enjoy the sense of community and the location. Being in Halifax is very important to me as it is where many of my family members grew up. The professors are very good and help me strive to become more educated and experienced.

Dalhousie University is a perfect blend of academic excellence and adventure. Nestled in the heart of Halifax, it offers a vibrant and inclusive environment that fosters both personal and professional growth. The diverse range of programs ensures there’s something for everyone, with professors who are both knowledgeable and supportive. Beyond the classroom, the campus and city offer countless opportunities for exploration and adventure, from scenic coastal views to a rich cultural scene. Dalhousie encourages students to thrive by balancing rigorous academics with extracurriculars and outdoor activities. It’s more than a university—it’s a place where you truly grow and succeed.

Dalhousie is a great university – it’s the perfect fit for me. It’s big enough to offer a great campus experience, a wide array of programs, and awesome amenities such as the Dalplex. But, it’s also small enough that it’s easy to meet people and feel apart of a community. Halifax is also a great city to be based in. Again, it’s big enough to offer everything you need, but small enough to make it easy to get around. It’s a very friendly and welcoming city too making it a n easy transition for first year students to be living on their own for the first time.

Dalhousie has a beautiful campus. It is easy to get from class to class as everything is close by. I am in the commerce co-op program and I have had an excellent experience. The program gives you real work experience with their co-op opportunities. I have completed 2 out of 3 of my work terms and I loved each one. Dalhousie is a great university. The staff are friendly and there is lots of school spirit.

I have a real passion for this university. I was aware that I was in good hands before I got here, but I had no idea how important this school would be to my future. Being accepted and enrolled in programs at this fantastic university is a true blessing.The teaching team is amazing; they all genuinely care about each of their students’ success and are there to support them. There is always a ton to do and a ton of places to study, therefore the location is also the finest.

Dalhousie has been offering excellent quality of education from the professors and resources accessible to the students. The University also encourages the students to engage with extracurricular activities so that we would be growing holistically rather than just academically.
