Entering my Fourth year at Dal in the Bachelor of Management program, I can happily say that it has been a great experience so far! The classes are super fun, educational, and interactive. There are also so many clubs and campus-led initiatives to take part in. The opportunities to grow professionally and as a person are huge, and you can always count on the support from faculty and fellow peers! The campus is beautiful, especially during the summer and fall, and you will always find students sitting outside in between classes studying, chatting, or just enjoying the weather. Also, there are many great options to grab a drink or food right on campus.

Dalhousie University is generally a very prestigious school when it comes to academics in Canada. I find certain programs are more concentrated than others but all-round excellence remains constant. If your main focus is to get really good grades so you can be recognized by society as an academic force, this is the school for you.
In regards to my program in business management, there is a lot of support within the faculty that I appreciate so very much. It’s not always roses but they also pick out the thorns when they notice them.

My time at King’s wasn’t just about earning a degree; it was about learning to think in a whole new way.

What I love most about Dalhousie University’s Bachelor of Management program is the vibrant sense of community and the incredible facilities. Joining the Dalhousie Management Society has been a highlight, as it connected me with like-minded peers who are passionate about making an impact. The opportunities within this program are numerous, especially the chance to earn certificates in Marketing and Leadership, which have broadened my skill set and prepared me for a dynamic career.

The supportive network and hands-on experiences offered through student groups have been transformative. The academic expectations are high, but the sense of accomplishment and the valuable professional connections make it all worthwhile. While the program could enhance communication around certain events and opportunities, the overall experience and the sense of belonging within the community make it exceptional.

I feel like I’m a member of a large family at Dalhousie University, an excellent institution that values diversity. I knew this was where I belonged from my first year of college. I am looking forward to starting my junior year. Strong friendships that I will keep for many years have been formed. The staff is excellent, and many resources are available to assist students.

I enjoy Dalhousie. I am in the business management program and have enjoyed it so far. I especially give thanks to the academic advisor department. Dalhousie has a welcoming environment and a beautiful campus. Their administration could run smoother.

What I loved most about Dalhousie University was the teachers and staff who genuinely cared not only about your learning experience but about you as an individual. University was some of the toughest years I’ve had to date but I wouldn’t have made it through without the teachers and staff who made time for me and treated me with respect. I not only learned a lot about my field of study but also about myself and my own personal growth and maturity.
