    International Development Studies

My time at Dalhousie was incredibly rewarding and intellectually stimulating. I graduated with a focus in International Development Studies, which allowed me to explore global issues through research, critical analysis, and writing.

I wrote extensively throughout my degree, which strengthened my research, analytical, and communication skills. One course that particularly stood out was Migration and Identity with Liz Fitting, where I gained a deeper understanding of complex social and cultural dynamics and developed nuanced perspectives on human mobility. I also thoroughly enjoyed courses with Robert Husih, such as the Pandemics and Global Health course, which challenged me to think critically about current global crises and their social, political, and economic impacts.

Overall, Dalhousie provided a rigorous and supportive learning environment that sharpened my critical thinking, research abilities, and passion for understanding global development challenges.
