I’m currently pursuing Marketing Management in Digital Media at George Brown College, and it’s honestly been a fantastic experience so far. I originally attended Humber but decided to switch to GBC after hearing so many great reviews, and I’m so glad I did. The campus is right in the heart of downtown Toronto, and there’s something really motivating about being in such a dynamic environment. Walking around and seeing so many professionals in the area really inspires me and makes me feel driven to do my best.
One of the highlights for me has been the professors. They are incredibly professional and bring such a wealth of knowledge to the classroom, not just from textbooks but from their own diverse backgrounds. I’ve learned so much from their experiences, whether it’s in marketing, digital media, or even entrepreneurship. The practical insights they share make a huge difference in understanding the real-world application of what we’re learning.
The classes are engaging, and I appreciate how they combine theory with hands-on experience. There’s always a great balance of learning and doing, which I think is crucial in the marketing world. Plus, the classmates I’ve met here are passionate and driven, which creates a really positive, collaborative environment.
The campus itself is vibrant, and while it’s not the biggest, the location in downtown Toronto makes up for it. It’s easy to access everything you need, from cafes to networking events, which can really help expand your professional circle.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend George Brown College. The professors are knowledgeable, the location is inspiring, and the experience so far has been incredibly rewarding. If you’re considering a marketing or digital media program, GBC is definitely worth looking into!
