View moreHospitality and Tourism would be one of the most potentially developing industries because people have had to stay at home for almost 3 years until now. My major provides me with good prospects. My school is known for its Hospitality and Culinary. Our location is downtown, which provides potential job opportunities. This is an international college as well.
View moreI liked the program a lot just wished it was all online and had more opportunities after graduation to work right away. Some of the course materials I believe were really good and connected with the program and some I just didn’t understand why we had to take it.
View moreClasses for post-grad are mostly evenings and the program structure focuses more on the application of learnings through weekly or bi-weekly projects. If you’re used to fast-paced education then this college will be a good fit! They aligned their structure based on what the Canadian employer expects from you in the real world. Nonetheless, this program and college expects you to be independent.

General review:
My first year was a hard transition from high school to college. considering some professors already have very high expectations of their first-year students- kind of overwhelming. Throughout the program, the more complex the classes get, the more some profs tend to be more accommodating and flexible with assignments and tests.. which is really helpful as nobody can fully absorb several lessons within a week.
In my last semester of college, COVID hit and made it harder to understand lab-related classes, however, profs were eager to give us all online resources to keep up.
It was just sad, there wasn’t a proper convocation ceremony and send-off from the school. All we got was a slide with our name and picture, that wasn’t even part of the “ceremony.” Had to go by your program list and had to look for your name and there’s just an audio recording of someone saying our names under our profile.
Professors made most of the course fun but still had very boring but heavy assignments and essay topics. Digital marketing was intriguing but the assignments weren’t, Online classes made the program feel slower and all-around boring.
View moreThe construction engineering program at George Brown College (in conjunction with Ryerson University) was a very hands-on learning experience. The courses in general related to various practices in construction on a basic level and as the education progressed, so did the complexity of the classes. I would very much recommend this course to anyone interested in working towards a “supervisor” level of construction in both the Low
View moreThe program I am enrolled in is Information Systems Business Analysis. This is one of the best programs GBC offers. It is well designed and structured as per industry needs. It is a cooperative program, so you will be trained accordingly. The program and the content they deliver are to the point and make you job-ready.
The program coordinator and all the teaching staff are very friendly, and they themselves are industry experts, so they guide the students in the same way.
The thing which I did not like about the school is that even though there are various facilities related to recreational activities, we as students are not aware of them and not even well informed, hence we don’t happen to use them in the way we could have used them either.
Talking about the international perspective, the school has very much international exposure, as in, you will find students from all across the globe.
On the career front, school is very supportive and they guide you at almost every step to land you a decent job.
Everything is great from the campus life, interactive lectures and most importantly assistance in the issues with international student life.
