View moreIf you ever felt like school wasn’t for you, Conestoga College is the school for you. School always felt like a chore to me. It was always something that never “understood” me. I always felt like I learned differently. After I got through elementary school and somehow got through high school. I looked at a variety of colleges and universities that I was interested in going to. Conestoga College was the only one I applied to. It was the only one I felt comfortable with being a part of the 2SLGBTQIA community and the Metis community as well. I really liked the ability to be able to work on school from home remotely. The only thing I disliked was some classes you were unable to do remotely but you were given the option in different semesters!

View moreI was enrolled in the HRM program and it was a very fast paced program. Each semester comprised of approximately 7 courses and the courses were very lengthy and required close attention and time. If you didn’t take accounting in highschool or have any prior knowledge on this subject you will find this a bit difficult to understand. I would recommend taking this course in your secondary studies or hiring a tutor. Overall the other courses were manageable.
