I enjoy attending CapU with a major in Kinesiology. The professors are very passionate about their work and helping students, making sure each and every one of us reach our best potential. I like collaborating with like-minded students, and I have connected with many of them over the course of two years. The only things that are lacking are the social aspect outside of my degree and faculty. I rarely participate in events, clubs, or fun activities offered by the Capilano Student Council or in general. In comparison to SFU or UBC, there are limited social activities and events. For example, there is only the library that you can be really social at, but UBC has a few bars, restaurants, and late night activities.

The RADP program at Capilano University is really good for anyone interested in physical or occupational therapy or speech-language pathology. The classes are practical and easy to follow, and the instructors are very supportive. You get to learn hands-on skills that are actually used in hospitals and clinics. I also like that the program gives you different career options after graduation, it’s a great start for building a career in rehabilitation and health care.

The North American Business Management Applied program at Capilano University is a solid choice for those looking to understand North American business practices. The course structure is well-organized, and the work placement practicum provides useful hands-on experience, which is a nice touch.

That said, some parts of the program could feel repetitive if you already have a business background. While the faculty is knowledgeable, the course might benefit from more personalized support for students.

Overall, it’s a decent program that delivers on its promise of equipping students with business skills. It’s not groundbreaking, but it’s practical and worth considering if you’re aiming to get a foothold in North American industries.
