The University of Lethbridge is embedded into the coulees of the badlands where the city lies, making you feel a strong connection to the environment around you anywhere on campus. Lethbridge is home to the Blackfoot Nation and the University does a fantastic job at Indigenous acknowledgement and offers many Indigenous studies courses. I was lucky enough to be in a program that allowed me to minor in Indigenous studies and reap the opportunity to dig into my own Indigenous identity. I would say that was my favourite piece of the University of Lethbridge. There are many opportunities to meet other students, access student resources, and make connections with your professors and TA’s.
