University of Calagry has very good facilities, the modern design creates and great place for all the students to study, communicate, and partake in activities. The dorms are also well put together and the community is good.
View moreThe class sizes at the University of Calgary are staggeringly large, with a high professor to student ratio. Many of the professors in every department have been there for over a decade and have very little passion for the content they teach. However, it is a top rated university for a reason and I would recommend it to students who are okay with being a small fish in a very big pond.
View moreOne of the core reason behind University of Calgary was it’s cultural diversification. It is a place which has people from numerous cultures. Moreover, I took business technology management as my major. This is a major , which was quite appealing to me as a mixture of technology and business which has always been my passion. Additionally, the school also provides co-op opportunity, which will allow me to graduate with real-life work experience. In a nutshell, all the factors of UCalgary were suitable for me which brought me here.
View moreThere are many options within University of Calgary, and it’s not just academically wise, there are many different clubs within campus that are inclusive of anyone interested. The professors enjoy their jobs and make it easier for students to work since they know that the person teaching them really enjoys their work, but that many only be with the professors I’ve had. The campus is big so it’s a hassle if your classes are allover the place, but it’s also enjoyable to see different places and areas. The Mac Hall, which is our food hall is also great as there’s many seats and very many options to eat at, the walking area is a bit small though but there’s always something happening within Mac Hall every week!
