I would rate Bow Valley College a 9/10. Compared to my prior undergrad Bow Valley was a real breath of fresh air. It was easy to see how concepts from the previous courses were built upon in following seasons. Most of of my instructors were incredibly personable, gave meaningful feedback, and were receptive to concerns such as deadlines needing to be pushed back. I had more difficulty connecting with my teachers who taught purely online classes. With no real time meeting time it also made group projects feel quite disconnected. TI also felt that for the most part across courses I wouldn’t have to worry about deadlines overlapping, my instructors just felt organized. There were also many instances they seemed eager to help with portfolio work and general professional development outside of class which was greatly appreciated.
