University of Bamenda - Uba (reviews)

There’s high levels of collaboration between the lecturers and the students, as a growing university there’s much allowance for students to demonstrate theirs skills learned through hands-on projects. Lack of infrastructure is the key challenge of the University

The University of Bamenda is an English-speaking university located in Bambili, Cameroon. Many students enjoy studying there because of its strong academic programs, especially in Education, Engineering, and Health Sciences. The environment is friendly and diverse, with students from different regions. However, some challenges include overcrowded classrooms, slow administrative processes, and limited resources. Despite these issues, students often appreciate the dedication of their lecturers and the opportunity to learn in a peaceful and affordable area.

I love my university, the lecturers and administration are doing their best to ensure we get the best education, I love how they incorporate extracurriculars to our schedules,however I dislike the fact that some courses are so populated and the relationship between the lecturers and students is weak,

My experience at The Higher Teachers’ Training College of the University of Bamenda was very productive and interesting because of the quality of teachers,  teachings, research and the promotion of culture, moral values, diversity and socialization starting from admission of students from various countries of the globe. Also, there were workshops, soft skill lessons, sports tournaments, cultural and memorial events free of charge organized by the University and we also had facilities like gardens, football fields, parks, farms, and canteens for food and drinks for less than 1 Euros a plate or portion.

The only difficulty I faced as an Undergraduate student was the poor internet that occurred in some moments of urgency but this was not very serious though.

Overall my experience at this University was very enriching and I will strongly recommend it to anyone.
