I ran across a combination of supportive academics who encouraged me to finish my degree and bureaucratic roadblocks that frequently soured the experience. The enthusiastic teachers infused their courses with life, which inspired me to love learning. But the overall experience was hampered by the bureaucratic procedures at the university, which sometimes led to confusion and anger. Despite the campus’s many chances and state-of-the-art amenities, there was a dearth of strong student support services and inconsistent teaching quality, which left much to be desired. Looking back, Plovdiv University offered a solid foundation for development, but there is undoubtedly space for improvement in terms of a smoother and more encouraging learning environment.
View moreI love my program and my classes especially. I think the majority of my professors are good at their job and are very friendly as well! What I don’t like is that there are a few “filler”, if I might say, classes, that I think are irrelevant to my idea of how I would like to apply my major in the future. I think the university, and my faculty specifically, are great and I would recommend it; it is also fitting for international students.
