My supervisor has been one of the people that has made my stay here awesome. If you’re lucky to get a good one i am sure you’ll definitely enjoy it here. People around here are generally kind. The campus life is awesome as well. Different engaging activities.
View moreMy experience here has been genuinely comforting. The environment is very welcoming, the people are courteous and kind, there is a sense of be7longing i found here. It’s not perfect, but it’s a place where you can learn, grow and still feel supported. For me, it truly feels like home
View moreI’m not going to lie, I am partial to my alma mater. UFBA is an incredible university and I am proud to be one of its alumni. However, it does have some challenges: during my b.a., there have been many cost reduction policies that affected the overall quality of our studies, resources became scarce. But the professors there are resilient and always insured to do the best by their students in my experience.
View moreMy personal expirience in UFBA has been overall positive, the infrastructe of the campus are delightfull with plenty of green areas and beautiful constructions, but what leaves to be desired unfortunatly is the organization, simple tasks as aplying for classes each semester, getting documents and other similars can be very draining and take a lot of time. In adition to that, the classes themselves are not padronized, so depending on the teacher, each student can have very diferent undergraduating knoledges overall.
View moreThe Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) is a diverse and multifaceted university. Its campuses are distributed between the urban context of Salvador and the interior of Bahia, which brings plurality to the academic debate. It is an old university that preserves tradition and avant-garde in harmony. I study in a department that has resources, which makes the experience privileged. I feel that I learn a lot with a gaze that leans heavily on the classics with a strongly decolonial critique of the territory. The university is also a place for network articulation. Therefore, I believe that I build bridges for my future professional life with every syllabus or encounter in the corridors.
