

Despite being considered one of the best federal universities in the country, UFRGS still has many areas to improve, including its course curricula. The Veterinary Medicine curriculum, despite recent changes, remains outdated and focused on animal production, despite there already being a Zootechnics course at the university. However, the teachers are mostly renowned researchers, each one excelling in their field, despite not always having the teaching skills to teach their classes.
