PUCRS – Pontifical University of Rio Grande do Sul was a great experience. My stay at the University was full of academic and professional activities, It has everything you need within the campus. I haven’t had much experience with the student support services but I’ve heard from friends that they’re pretty good. I used to love seeing lecturers who are really enthusiastic about their subject. There’s also a hospital that belongs to the university right next to it.
View morePUCRS is a good university in Porto Alegre where I studied between 2015-2020. I was able to learn from professors who have experience in the professional market, and not stay just in theory as I see in other great universities. Your campus has a very good structure and is similar to first-world countries. Because of well-defined classes (always on the night shift), I was able to do an internship from the beginning. I studied for 6 months in Canada thanks to an agreement that I managed to sign between PUCRS and Polytechnique Montréal, and it was a huge experience not only academically, but professionally and personally, where I met people and cultures from all over the world.
View morePUCRS is a very good University in South of Brazil, graduating people on many courses. Talking a bit about the Engineering School (called FENG), there are lots of skilled professors, the library is comfortable and full of actualized books. The engineers graduated on FENG are qualified and have been hired for many jobs around the world.
The campus is beautiful and wooded, has lots of places to sit and have a good conversation.
It was a pleasure to study there.
