The administration staff is incredible. They go above and beyond to help you. Information is easily and readily accessible to newcomers.
Because it’s government funded and in Brazil, a lot of the infrastructure is lacking. Buildings in need of renovations, lack of toilet supplies, several times water fountains are found out of order.
It’s very spacious with many campi spread around the city – be prepared to walk quite a bit!
The experience you’ll have with regards to professors varies considerably depending on the course you take – I suggest looking into “Me Livra” app to check what other students have to say about your possible next professors. Quite a few really do care if you’re learning.
