FMU is an average university with good qualities and bad qualities. One of the biggest is the affordable price. In my course, the teachers are also very flexible in helping the student pass the year. The teachers are prepared and flexible. They develop a friendly relationship with the students.
The negative points are the extreme disorganization that was faced this semester due to the change in the university system, which made it difficult for me to re-enroll, for example. Lack of dialogue with the director and few weekly classes.
Therefore, in general, it is an average Brazilian university, as the positive points are quite relevant, such as easy entry, rigorous teaching, more than other more expensive private universities, in addition to being fair, as the professors develop a good relationship with the students and facilitate our learning.
View moreI study Biology, and I started college in 2020, and after only a month of classes, we had to have remote classes due to the pandemic. That meant that I didn’t have 90% of lab classes I should’ve, and I also didn’t get to go on any fieldtrips since they were all cancelled. Classes went back to being in person last year, but none of that was rescheduled, unfortunately.
The tuition is pretty pricy for a popular University in my country, especially considering that I barely got to use the infrastructure of the university itself.
I do Music Therapy at FMU, the course is very interesting and rich, they offer an internship at the college’s own clinic. However, it is not complete nor does it cover everything that this practice needs. It is visibly scrapped by the institution, which is far from being an education provider, but a company primarily concerned with money and the number of enrollments.
View moreFMU is a very respected and high quality faculty, excellent teachers and has great teaching, form the best and most qualified teachers. The structure is good and well-prepared, easy to reach, located next to the subway and in very safe areas, has some scholarship programs and discounts for alumni or graduates from other institutions. I indicate knowing and studying there.
