As an engineering student, I wish the course were better. Some subjects have excellent professors, but suddenly it changes to one, then another, and you get confused by each professor’s teaching method.
Also, they don’t value distance learning students. The service is poor; I try to talk about events on that platform that brings people together online to watch a lecture, and they see the message but don’t respond.
The rule for AAC (Academic Complementary Activities) is terrible, since only 40 hours can be done off-campus; the rest has to be at Estácio itself. But my campus doesn’t consider distance learning students and doesn’t even accept donations like larger campuses do.
On exam day, they don’t give the students proper guidance.
Also, what they teach in the review sessions isn’t necessarily what’s on the actual exam.
In short, there’s a lot of room for improvement. The campus location has a good concept, but it’s terrible to get there and find public and private transportation; there’s practically nothing around. It’s a huge building, but the air conditioning and lights are off.
The university is very good, with excellent professors and excellent service. It’s a large university with several campuses in Rio de Janeiro, constantly advancing in knowledge and service, enabling each student to progress significantly.
View moreWhat I liked: Flexible schedule, affordable tuition with scholarships, and a solid curriculum that combines linguistics, literature, and teaching practice.
What I didn’t like: Limited interaction with professors and classmates, and the internship requires a lot of student autonomy.
Recommendation: Yes, I’d recommend it for those seeking flexibility and a recognized degree—but it’s best suited for disciplined, self-motivated learners.
View moreThis university granted me the opportunity to get an bachellor title, and i’ve done it in my own time! Following the schedule grade and completing the objectives of the course i managed to finish it and acquire the so beloved title of Bachellor in Business Administration! The only thing i would changed is that they take so long to respond our requirements and documentation sent on theyr website and that almost delayed my graduation.
View moreEstácio College has exceeded my expectations. The classes are well structured, with professors who have practical experience in the field and explain things in a clear and accessible way. Another positive point is the flexibility offered, ideal for those who work or need to balance other responsibilities.
