The university takes exceptional care of its students. They support you through every stage of the course and are incredibly available to answer questions and help you with any issues related to the course or the university.
View moreInitially, the university was very good about being a distance learning institution, but it ended up falling short in terms of how it supports students and how it organizes classes and projects to engage students and assist with outreach projects. This, in addition to being detrimental to students seeking distance learning due to a lack of time and a support network for family issues, is also very demanding and rigorous in resolving these issues. If a student doesn’t comply with what they offer, they won’t graduate. Furthermore, the professors lack adequate explanations.

View morePositives: Uniasselvi is a solid choice for distance learning (EAD) in Brazil. It offers great flexibility, allowing students to study around their schedules. It is also recognized by the MEC (Ministry of Education), which validates its degrees, and is generally more affordable than many traditional universities.
Negatives: The main drawback is the lack of a traditional campus experience and in-person interaction, which some students may miss. Success depends almost entirely on the student’s self-discipline and motivation to keep up with the online platform.
Verdict: I would recommend Uniasselvi primarily to working adults and self-directed learners who need a flexible, accredited, and cost-effective way to earn a degree. It’s perfect for those who prioritize practicality over campus life.
I’m a pedagogy major at my university. Based on my experience, I’d recommend it with a 4-star rating. It leaves something to be desired in the following areas: online classes and platform/system we access to take exams.
