At first it was a dream being accepted into the school. It was a moment i have been dreaming of for years. My first semester at the school was perfect. The students were nice, the lectures were awesome and everything was going well. Until rumors started that the school was not operating legally. There started being chaos at the school, the students would fight and destroy buildings but rightfully so. But after sometime it turned out it was a misunderstanding. Things slowly went back to normal. The school was amazing again.
View moreBotho University gave me an awesome tertiary education life, it was freshman friendly in terms of all the administration issues, modules registration and even online platform for examinations, assessment or any other enquiries.Lectures for every class were very much learned and experienced.
There was however a little glitch when it comes to practical activities, our computer labs where practical were done were very limiting and did not give an overall experience of the real work.
I would give Botho University a solid 9/10. I highly recommend it and it is the best IT school in the country
View moreMy experience at Botho University as a Finance student has been a mix of positives and challenges. The university offers a structured curriculum that covers key areas in finance, such as financial management, investment analysis, and corporate finance. The content is relevant and aligns well with current industry trends, which I appreciated as someone preparing for a career in the financial sector.
One of the things I liked most about Botho is its focus on practical learning. There are opportunities to engage in projects, presentations, and case studies that allow you to apply what you’ve learned. The lecturers are knowledgeable and supportive, and many are willing to go the extra mile to help students who show initiative.
However, there are areas that need improvement. At times, communication between departments can be slow or unclear, especially when it comes to administrative issues like exam scheduling or accessing academic resources. Additionally, some of the learning materials and platforms could be more user-friendly and up to date.
Overall, I would say Botho University provides a decent foundation in Finance, especially if you’re self-driven and willing to take charge of your own learning. While there is room for improvement in student services and infrastructure, the academic side of the program has the potential to prepare you well for the job market or further studies.
View moreI truly admire this university—if I had to describe it, I’d call it the modern university for anyone aiming to be employed in today’s fast-evolving industry. Why do I say that? Because they continuously update their programs, almost every year, to align with the latest market needs.
They offer strong programs in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics, and what’s even more impressive is their flexibility. The modules aren’t rigid; they adapt frequently, ensuring that the content remains relevant and practical. You can start with any program you’re interested in, and guess what? Their tuition fees are surprisingly affordable.
View moreWell, I studied post graduate diploma in higher education through distance and blended learning and one thing I need to highlight is their programme delivery system, it was very excellent, very fast and will give you a real classroom feeling, hence I graduated with a merit.
