Studying the Master of Management at Hasselt University has been a great experience. I appreciate the strong balance between theoretical knowledge and real business cases, which prepares students well for real-world challenges. While learning Dutch can be difficult, the people in Hasselt are very open and supportive, and many speak English. The Dutch lessons and introduction programme offered by the university have also been very helpful in adapting to daily life in Belgium.

As a student in the Master of Management with a specialization in Data Science, I have found that UHasselt offers a great balance between challenging academics and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The coursework is definitely demanding, but what really stands out to me are is the incredible diversity. With over 75 nationalities represented, every day feels like a chance to learn something new, whether it is during lectures or over coffee. The university also organizes welcome events and weekend getaways that make it easy to connect with others while exploring cities like Bruges, which gave us the chance to bond outside the classroom and turn study groups into real friendships.

For me, UHasselt has been more than just a place to earn a degree. It has been an opportunity to build a global network while discovering the beauty of Belgium along the way.
