My Erasmus semester at Hasselt was quite an experience. From the very beginning, the onboarding process was as smooth as it could have been. Everything felt well-structured, organized, and easy to navigate, which made settling into a new university and a new environment much easier.
The professors were kind, approachable, and genuinely invested in making sure that we, as students, understood the subjects.
Beyond academics, things like the Student Hotspot, university events, symposiums, and other activities made student life in Hasselt much more lively and happening. There was always something happening outside the classroom, which made the Erasmus experience feel much more complete.
The campus itself is beautiful, and I especially enjoyed spending the summer months in Hasselt. Looking back, it was a memorable semester -not only academically, but also because of the people, experiences, and moments that came with it.
