I’ve really enjoyed studying at Odisee University of Applied Sciences. I’m in the Business Management program with a major in Marketing, and what I love most is how practical and real-world-focused the courses are. The mandatory internship is a big plus—it really pushes you to get professional experience. They also teach super useful programs like Excel, Adobe Illustrator, Power BI, and SPSS, which are skills you actually need in the workplace. It’s not just about memorizing from textbooks; it’s about learning how to apply what you know. Definitely recommend it for anyone who wants to be career-ready

My learning experience at Odisee was transformative and distinctive, characterized by a hands-on teaching approach and an emphasis on teamwork. From the beginning, the curriculum encouraged practical application of theoretical knowledge, allowing me to work on real-world projects and gain experience beyond the classroom. This approach not only helped me understand concepts more deeply but also fostered my ability to adapt to different situations and challenges.

The teamwork aspect of my experience was equally valuable. Throughout my studies, I collaborated with classmates from diverse backgrounds and skill sets, which exposed me to new perspectives and taught me how to communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, and contribute to a group dynamic. These experiences helped me build critical soft skills such as adaptability, empathy, and leadership.

Additionally, the professors at Odisee were highly supportive and encouraged us to ask questions, take initiative, and think critically. They fostered an environment where we could learn from each other as well as from their expertise, making each class an interactive and enriching experience.

The way Odisee University College teaches is usually based on projects and assignments. it is very engaging and keeps students active. Odisee University College’s ranking is low but it deserves better. because it is an applied university, students generally feel more ready for business life.

Odisee campus is what I liked a lot about the college. Also, the lecturers were also very helpful. The program that I am studying, I am enjoying. The location of the campus is great it’s right in the centre of Brussels.

I am doing an Erasmus at the Odisee college, this college is a great place to be an international student. Everyone speaks English and all the classes are thought in English. The college is easily accessible and it is very easy to be a new student there.

Odisee has a friendly staff, and professional teachers. The location of the campus is extremely nice. It is located very close to the centre of Brussels. Many good restaurants surround the campus, tho I feel it’s a bit expensive in that area.

What’s interesting about college life in Odisee was on the first year you tend to feel overwhelmed by the amount of work you need to put in. Professors will constantly keep you on your toes keeping you busy with papers, reviews, and analysis. This can often lead to students disliking going to class or even the teachers. But by the 2nd year everything relaxes, they assign you to groups and expect you to operate more independently. I realised then that the school sets you up for success not by giving you materials and exams you need to pass, but by training you and giving you the mindset needed to understand problems and forming creative efficient solutions.

Life on campus gives a sense of freedom. Instead of a direct line to graduation, you’re given multiple options on how you want to go about your studies so you can choose the way that fulfils you as a future entrepreneur. That’s the key difference that makes Odisee exceptional, they teach you to be entrepreneurs, not just employees.

I would like to start off by saying I used to study in KU Leuven, specifically, Business administration. I was so frustrated in not fully understanding the concepts, teachers not explaining things properly and not being interactive enough which is a must for me since I have ADHD, the more interaction a teacher provides, the better I understand the content. Oddisee teachers not only interact with their teachers in each and every class, they care for their students, for example, one of our teachers thought something was off with a friend and they asked about their well being. If given the choice between understanding and hands-on experience or just sitting and reading a book all the time I’d choose the first.
