    Practical, Modern and Truly Skill-Based

What I love most about this programme is how practical it is. Every semester is project-based, so there is no useless memorisation of material you will never use. Instead, you learn by actually designing, developing and delivering digital products.

The programme stays up to date with the latest technologies and combines design, full-stack development and project management. There is a strong balance between individual work and teamwork, so you learn both how to take full responsibility for your own projects and how to collaborate effectively with others.

Another major strength is the way exams work. Each semester, we present and defend our own digital product in front of our teachers. There are no written multiple-choice exams that test short-term memory rather than real skills. You are evaluated on what you can actually build, explain and demonstrate, which is far more relevant to the professional world.

Under the new programme coordinator, Steven Rasschaert, the programme has become excellent. He is correct, straightforward and genuinely works to create a strong balance across the entire programme. He listens, makes thoughtful decisions and keeps the programme focused, relevant and well structured.

The teachers are knowledgeable, helpful and genuinely willing to share their expertise. They are approachable, ready to support students and clearly care about passing their knowledge forward.

At the same time, despite the seriousness and hard work, I have made many great memories and had a lot of fun working on the projects. There is a very rewarding feeling when something you designed and developed finally works, and I have had many moments where I was genuinely proud of myself and of what I managed to build.

This is definitely a programme for people who want to work in design, development, or even combine both. If you want to learn skills and technologies that you will actually use in a real working environment, rather than just study theory for an exam, this programme is an excellent choice.
