The university provides a variety of English-language programs, making it an ideal environment for international students. I admire its tolerance for diversity and cultural differences. For the time being, I’m looking forward to learning more interesting things. Sincerely, I would recommend this university to students who want to study in a multicultural environment.
View moreThe international communications and media program takes a blended learning approach. Even though you learn a lot of theory there is a focus on practical work as well. You get to work on projects for clients and test your ability to work in a team. During the semester there are amazing guest lectures that speak about communications within different industries. But what I love most is that the program is really a big mix of international students so you get to learn and work in a multicultural environment.
View moreI would 100% recommend studying at Thomas More University of Applied Sciences. First of all, you have a very close respectful relationship with your professors. They are very transparent, open-minded and very approachable. In terms of the classes within Marketing itself, they were efficient. As in you only get classes that will benefit you in the future, no fill-in classes that have nothing to do with your studies. The Business School of Thomas More University of Applied Sciences also offers interesting seminars that you can to follow. They are crucial because you can really experience or hear about real-life business-related stories from people who work in that field. Also, you can easily make friends over there. During your bachelor’s, you also get to practice in an internship. The internships they offer are valuable and could boost your career. People in Mechelen or the surroundings are very open-minded and fun to hang out with. But there are also international students from all over the world. So you don’t need to worry about that part.

I would say it is the highlight of our university due to the students’ organisation we have. They help a lot in integrating students very well.
I personally study International Communication and Media and so far it is really fun to study there is hands-on training involved, along with exchange and internship.

View moreI wouldn’t recommend to follow marketing or any “opleiding” here. The teachers kinda want u to fail and give unfair scores (my friend who did more but was different nationality got less score than me who barely did anything).
Half the class left by 2nd semester because it’s that bad.
