I studied at BSEU a long time ago, from 1994 to 1998. The university has several buildings; the main one is on Vaneeva Street, and another is on Sverdlov Street. I studied at the Sverdlov building, but we were periodically sent to the Vaneeva building. The building was an old structure, so naturally, there hadn’t been any decent renovations at the time. All the classrooms, equipment, and furniture were old. The restrooms were terrible. I didn’t like the teaching. It was boring, the knowledge was superficial, and it had no connection to real life. The only instructor I liked during my entire time there was the English teacher, Dubovik. As far as I know, nothing has changed in terms of teaching quality recently.
