As one of the prominent universities in Bangladesh, CU should have performed much better than it does. The university has everything i.e. a green and huge campus, enough resources, enough budget, etc. but it is still not up to the mark. Corruption, politics, traditional practices in the educational curriculum, nepotism, etc. are the main reasons behind the status quo situation of this university. My program is also one of the most vulnerable programs in this university. It has session jam, low results, no mentionable scope for research and education, and a lack of integration between teachers and students are the main representation of the faded image. The majority of the teachers are also not good at educational service. Graduates from this department struggle to get better job opportunities. However, the university has a good accommodation facility better than many other public universities in BD.
