One of the best or fastest growing public university in Bangladesh. Green campus with beautiful landscape. Now a days it is listed as the world university ranking for research quality and maintaining its Teaching quality. But, as a student of NSTU we faced many kinds of difficulties such as: lack of classroom facilities, lab facilities, lack of innovative teaching learning method, faculty members or teachers unavailability, more theory based functioning curriculum, lack of accommodation facilities for both students and teachers, malpractices of student and teachers politics, violence, unhygienic food and water suply, unhealthy environment for studying, student teacher ratio is so higher. Worthless new department establishing every year, unfair budget allocation etc. But, today changes occur gradually and growing Faster than before. Overall, as a university or my second home where i already grew up. The experience, knowledge and wisdom i acquired from here and i want to apply these to proceed further development.

I completed my BBA in Management Information Systems (MIS) at Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) and am currently pursuing my MBA in the same discipline. My experience with the university has been highly rewarding and has helped me develop both business and technology-oriented skills.
The MIS program offers a well-balanced curriculum covering business management, information systems, databases, ERP, business analytics, and digital transformation. The faculty members are supportive, knowledgeable, and encourage students to engage in research, presentations, case competitions, and extracurricular activities.
NSTU provides a friendly academic environment where students can improve their analytical thinking, communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. The affordability of education and the quality of instruction make it an excellent choice for students seeking higher education in Bangladesh.
While greater industry collaboration, internship opportunities, and international partnerships would further enhance the program, I would strongly recommend MIS at NSTU to students interested in pursuing careers at the intersection of business and technology.
As a recent graduate of Noakhali Science and Technology University, I am grateful for the academic knowledge, practical skills, and personal growth opportunities the institution has provided. The university offers a supportive learning environment, dedicated faculty members, and a diverse academic culture that encourages critical thinking and innovation.
The campus infrastructure, library facilities, and extracurricular activities have significantly contributed to my overall development. While there is still room for improvement in areas such as research funding, industry collaboration, and career placement support, the university continues to make commendable progress.
Overall, NSTU has played a pivotal role in shaping my academic foundation and professional aspirations. I am proud to be an alumnus of this esteemed institution and remain optimistic about its future growth and excellence.
As a current student of Management Information Systems (MIS) at Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU), my experience has been highly rewarding. Our department effectively bridges the gap between business management and modern information technology, which is highly relevant in today’s corporate world.
The faculty members of the MIS department are exceptionally qualified, friendly, and deeply committed to our growth. They use a dynamic curriculum that covers database management, data analytics, and corporate decision-making tools. Outside of lecture hours, the professors are always approachable for academic guidance or research advice.
The 101-acre NSTU campus offers a peaceful and serene environment ideal for focusing on studies. We have access to the Central Library with online resource facilities, and the technological infrastructure is steadily growing to accommodate software and practical labs.
Campus life is incredibly vibrant due to multiple student-run clubs, tech carnivals, and cultural festivals. MIS students actively participate in the MIS Network Club, Computing Club, business case competitions, and sports events, which significantly help in building teamwork and soft skills. For instance, a team named Cleopatra from our department recently reached the semi-finals of the global Hult Prize with an innovative business idea.Personally, I have had the privilege to actively participate as a volunteer in prestigious events like the Business Technology Colloquium 2026, the International Conference on Embracing Industry 4.0 for Sustainable Business Growth (EISBG 2024), the 2nd International Conference on Machine Intelligence and Emerging Technologies 2024 (MIET 2024), and the NSTU Research Fair 2026.Furthermore, our university heavily encourages sports. Students regularly participate in regional football, cricket, volleyball, chess, and badminton competitions, consistently bringing home respectable results.
While the academic quality is top-notch, increasing industry-academia collaboration, offering more on-campus recruitment or job fairs, and expanding advanced software lab facilities would make our department even more globally competitive.Overall, I highly recommend the MIS department at NSTU for anyone wanting to build a robust career at the intersection of business and technology.
