I graduated from the University of Chittagong (CU) in 2019 from the Department of Political Science. I was so hopeful when I was choosing this subject. Because there were some famous professors in this department known country-wide. However, they retired and I saw no future prospect in this department after that. The currents teachers are not well focused on their classes and research rather in politics and personal gains. The Department is having sessions jam for no reasons that frustrates students as they graduate one year later than the actual graduation year. Research and knowledge nursing is not so noticeable in the classes, seminars or even in library among the students of this department. Overall, I personally don’t recommend anyone to decide to have a bachelor’s or master’s degree here.
View moreI am studying Bachelor’s in Political Science at this University. I had a deep interest to study political science with a lot of expectations. I think I am in a right place to meet my expectations from the department, faculty members, colleagues, administrative bodies and the university campus. However, I still feel that the university has many more things to do with research and innovations. The research budget is poor here, discouraging students to take an initiative to go for it. Otherwise, I am satisfied with my university and the program I am studying here.
