biochemistry was all over the place

The team-based learning sections of the course were a waste of time and were in slots marked on our timetables as lectures. We already had biweekly tutorials and that is essentially where the first half is a lecture and then we do more team-based learning. Lectures should be during lecture time, not when I come to a workshop expecting to be able to discuss the content with my peers and teaching staff.
The group activities held every three weeks were glorified arts and crafts and there were better uses of my time. I drove a two-and-a-half-hour round trip to make a poster or flip book when I could’ve been at home or in the library revising. It seemed like the course staff couldn’t decide when they wanted to lecture, run tutorials, or just give us an activity to do so they did all three at random
